The Public Good conducts education research and evaluation studies for organizations engaged in contributing to the greater public good. The mission of The Public Good is to enhance the well being of children, families and communities through effective research, analysis and communication. Leading national and regional organizations rely on TPG to identify effective policies and practices, and to help decision makers make informed choices. See TPG's client list.
Fresh from graduate school, Ms. Good sought experience in public policy and thus worked for Colorado Governors Lamm and Romer in the offices of Planning & Budgeting, Local Affairs and Economic Development. She co-founded a publishing firm, then spent seven years directing communications for a national association before striking out on her own in 1996.
She founded The Public Good to combine her communication expertise with her passion for using research to determine the best course for public-minded pursuits. Her academic and professional interests center on the process of change, especially as it relates to the education and policy environments. She earned a B.A. in psychology in 1981 from University of Houston and holds an M.S. in Future Studies www.cl.uh.edu/futureweb/futdef.html (UH, 1984).
